We want to serve as the "heart of Northgate" by creating value: value for business, value for the community and value for citizens.

Our mission:

Our mission as the NGCC is to “create value” though collaboration and a focused effort to support the community and enhance the general economic welfare of the Northgate Area. We want to define the needs of business owners and our community partners and seek ways to fulfill those needs, thereby “creating value”. For example, through meetings, events, networking, and projects, we help local businesses better themselves.

Our efforts are focused on bringing together business owners, civic organizations, community organizations and citizens of Northgate for the purpose of enhancing the growth and identity of Northgate.

The Northgate Chamber of Commerce was officially founded, in the winter of 2002, to support and advance the business community. The inspiration primarily came from a local group of business owners that formed a steering committee in the summer of 2000. We are concerned citizens and business owners that have operated businesses in the area as far back as the 1950’s.

We support local business and the community in our efforts to serve as a voice and pulse of the Northgate area on such issues as transportation, taxes, crime, community improvement and other issues that affect the business climate of the Northgate Area.
